My implantation journal (14) −Extraction of the root of the maxillary central
incisor and removal of the thread one week after−

Pretreatment for implant treatment of the maxillary central incisor, which
had been on
hold, has finally started.

The 1st step is tooth extraction surgery for the root that remains in
the missing part of the central
incisor.
In my case, it was done with the root
cracked and purulent.
I can tell that I have bad breath
when pus is coming out of my gum,
but that's really unpleasant.
After that, the tooth extraction
wound was sutured to promote
healing, and the surgery was
successfully completed on July 30.
Today is the 2nd step of pretreatment, removal of thread
one week after the surgery.
It was completed in just a few minutes and I didn't feel any discomfort.

removal of thread ; 抜糸、 feel discomfort ; 不快感を抱く、不快なな思いをする
According to my doctor, he will wait for my gums and jawbone (alveolar
bone) to heaI
in the future, and perform implant treatment 3 months after the removal
of thread.
It is to ensure sufficient thickness and height of the alveolar bone.
If the alveolar bone is incomplete at that time, more surgery to artificially
build bone will be
performed.
I was convinced by his explanation and agreed to do so.
The treatment is likely to be a long-term battle.
I decided to use the waiting time of 3 months for periodontal treatment.
The flow of periodontal treatment is as follows.

In my case, the  data is already in the clinic, so I will start with
a rough tartar removal that is in the category of  .
The next visit to the clinic will be on August 17.
