Today I visited M dental clinic with written informed consent before the
implantation.
I undergo surgery to embed two implant bodies at a missing part of molars
in the
lower tooth row.
The surgery started at 12:00.
First, a dental hygienist cleand my teeth.
It might be remove germs such as periodontal bacteria in my mouth.
I'm not sure, but I imagined it on my own.

After a while, my doctor who is the director of this dental clinic injected
a local
anesthetic around the planned implant portion about 10 times.
Hey, you're injecting a lot here and there.
The implant bodies are embedded when the anesthesia is effective.
Three female dental hyginenists are supporting my doctor.
I got a CT scan of my teeth and jaw at the last visit.
The surgical guide, which was fabricated based on the information obtained
by
the computer simulation on its 3D CT image, appeared in this surgery.
(The surgical guide is a device that assists in embedding the implant body.)

After it was set on my lower jaw, two holes was drilled in the the lower
jawbone
by using an electric screwdriver (or drill) through the guide holes made
on it.
The operation was finished in only 10 minutes.
The implant bodies were subsequently embedded skillfully through the guide
holes with a drill.
I'm sure that the drill is manual one because he was twisting his hand
to embed
them.
Since the implant bodies were embedded with great force, I endured pain
with
sweat on my hands, even though I have been locally anesthetized.
The implant body made of pure titanium is a product manufactured by CAMLOG
Biotechnologies in Germany.
It is said that titanium with high intensity has good affinity for human
bone.
It has actually been demonstrated that metal allergies rarely occur.

Since the surgery was smoothly caried out with a sense of unity with other
femal
stuffs, I could undergo it free from anxiety.
After that, the wound of germs arround the implanted portion were sewn
up.
Today's embedding surgery was completed safely in this manner.

I was given some Roxionin as pain-relief pills, Larixin as anti-purulent
pills and
a bottle of mouthwash (含嗽剤) by the hygienist.
“含嗽” is a pharmacy terminology called “gansou” in Japanese.
It means mouthwash.
Since the mouthwash(含嗽剤) was written in difficult Kanji , I imagined it is
different in ingredients from mouthwash commonly used.
I'm sure it mainly contains ingredients with sterilizing and anti-inflammatory
efficacy and so used for disinfection, hemostasis and prevention of inflammation.

The embedding surgery of implant bodies was completed in a little less

an hour.
I never expected it would be so easy.
Next time, a week later, there seems to be post-surgery removal of thread
and
follow-up.
